Release 2024-2025 Local Government Efficiency Grant Announcement
The Village of Fonda has received a tentative $50,000 award from the NYS Department of Stateβs Local Government Efficiency Grant Program to support the Mohawk Valley Regional Water Cooperative. Initiated by Mayor William Peeler in 2024, the Cooperative brings together regional leaders to explore long-term, shared water solutions that improve resiliency, efficiency, and cost savings for residents. This funding will advance the detailed study and planning needed to turn that vision into reality.
