Residents are strongly encouraged to limit travel to essential needs only, such as medical needs, emergencies, or mandatory work. If travel is necessary, please use extreme caution and allow extra time.

The National Weather Service recommends keeping the following in your vehicle if travel is unavoidable:

  • Flashlight
  • Food and water
  • Warm clothing or blankets
  • Fully charged phone

Parking Restrictions – To Support Snow Removal

To allow DPW crews to safely and thoroughly clear village streets, no parking is permitted on village streets during the following overnight hours:

  • Sunday, January 25 – 6:00 PM to Monday, January 26 at 7:00 AM
  • Monday, January 26 – 6:00 PM to Tuesday, January 27 at 7:00 AM

We kindly ask residents to move vehicles off the street during these hours so plows can access all areas. Vehicles left on the street may need to be relocated if they interfere with snow removal operations.

Community Reminder

Please check on neighbors who may need assistance, limit time outdoors due to extreme cold, and take precautions to prevent frozen pipes and heating issues. Public Works crews will be working extended hours throughout the storm as conditions allow.
