PUBLIC NOTICE
Village of Fonda Boil Water Advisory

The Village of Fonda has issued a Boil Water Advisory for all residents effective immediately due to water turbidity and chlorine levels that do not meet standards. We recommend all residents take the following precautions as a safeguard until further notice:

Boil Your Water:

Bring all water to a rolling boil for at least one minute and let it cool before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes.

Use Bottled Water:

Alternatively, bottled water can be used for all consumption and food preparation needs.

The Village of Fonda is working closely with the New York State Department of Health to address this issue and restore water quality to meet regulatory standards. Regular updates will be provided to keep water users informed of the situation.
