We have a disturbance in the water system within the areas of Cayadutta Street (Route 334), Putnam Street, and Northern Broadway. Other areas might be affected but are unknown to us at this time.

This disturbance was caused by actions from a user creating discoloration of the water. If you are experiencing discoloration in your water, you may have to run your water until it clears.

We DO NOT recommend washing clothing, consuming, or bathing while the water remains discolored.

We are sorry for this inconvenience. We have instructed users on how to prevent these incidents, but now this has occurred, it is out of our control other than the steps we have instructed above. The water commissioner will investigate who and what caused this situation and will work with the user as to how we can prevent it from happening again.
