The Town of Mohawk Fire District is holding a Special Referendum and Special Election to construct a new firehouse. The Town of Mohawk Fire District serves the Village of Fonda and the Town of Mohawk.

When: Tuesday, February 23, 2021, 12:00 Noon to 9:00 PM

Where: Town of Mohawk Fire District, 2553 NY-30A, Fonda, NY 12068

Under Section 175-A, “Registration for voters,” (Village Residents) Registered with the Board of Elections Only those persons registered with the board of elections on or before the twenty-third day before such election and those persons whose names are placed on the fire district register pursuant to the provisions of this section shall be entitled to vote in such District.

In-Person Voting Only. The District is only allowing for in-person voting for this Special Referendum.
