Village of Fonda – Public Update
Improving Our Water Systems with Federal Support

We’re pleased to share that the Village of Fonda has been selected to participate in a special program through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This initiative is designed to support small communities like ours by providing expert guidance to help improve and maintain safe, reliable water systems.

Here are a few key areas the EPA Compliance Advisors program will assist the Village of Fonda with:

  • Understanding and meeting state and federal water quality regulations

  • Identifying and correcting any compliance issues

  • Improving routine operations and system maintenance

  • Enhancing staff training and technical capacity

  • Strengthening reporting accuracy and documentation

  • Supporting long-term planning for system sustainability

  • Reducing the risk of costly violations or system failures

These efforts align with our broader goals to modernize infrastructure, improve service reliability, and protect public health.

This opportunity comes at no cost to the Village and allows us to work directly with experienced advisors who will help strengthen our operations and compliance. It’s part of our continued commitment to investing in long-term infrastructure improvements and protecting the health of our residents.

We’ll keep the community updated as this effort progresses. Thank you for your continued support.
