At about 7:00 AM Tuesday, April 7, 2020, Construction will begin on (North or Hill) Center Street and Montgomery Terrace – DPW is closing Center Street to southbound traffic from Upper Prospect Street to (NY Route 5) Main Street.

DPW will reopen this area at the end of each day unless construction prevents the reopening.

This closing should not hinder vehicles traveling north on Center Street from Upper Prospect Street. Residents in this area can speak to Street and Water Commissioner Weaver should you have any concerns or questions.

This closure is the result of the major construction projects scheduled throughout the Village. You may find additional information on this project and others in the “Mayor’s Report” HERE.
