Advance Notice of Water Service Interruption and Boil Water Advisory
Dear Residents and Businesses,
Locations:
This notice serves as an advance alert for all water users located on the following streets and areas in the Village of Fonda ONLY:
- Hogans Alley
- Park Street
- Railroad East
- S. Bridge Street
- S. Center Street
- S. Broadway Street
- All areas south of the railroad from the Town of Mohawk offices to the Fonda Fairgrounds
Due to a water main break on Park Street, water service will be interrupted for repair on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, starting in the early morning hours. Once service is restored, a Boil Water Advisory will be issued for the affected users as a precautionary measure.
How to Prepare:
- Ensure you have enough water for drinking, cooking, and hygiene during the interruption, drinking, and cooking advisory period.
- If applicable to your business, plan for potential disruptions in water-based operations.
Key Points:
- The interruption is necessary to perform critical repairs to the water main.
- Updates will be provided upon completion of the repairs, including when the Boil Water Advisory begins and ends.
