The Village of Fonda is offering a Spring Clean-Up Large Item Pickup for residents needing assistance disposing of oversized items.
📅 Dates: April 28 – May 2, 2025 – 7 am to 2 pm (By appointment only)
📍 Location: Curbside pickup for Village of Fonda residents only
📜 Appointments are required through the Village Clerk’s Office at 518-853-4335 x20
💵 All applicable fees must be paid in advance
🚛 ITEMS ELIGIBLE FOR PICKUP:
- Large appliances (Refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves, etc.)
- Mattresses & box springs
- Other large household items (items too big for personal transport)
🚫 ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR PICKUP:
- Small household items (must be brought in person to the Spring Clean-Up Drop-Off)
- Household garbage
- Liquid or hazardous materials
- 55-gallon drums
- Only empty/clean paint cans will be accepted
♻️ SPECIAL ITEM DISPOSAL FEES (Paid in advance):
- Refrigerators & Freezers – $20.00 per unit
- Air Conditioners, Dehumidifiers, and Water Coolers – $5.00 per unit
⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
🚫 Smaller items must be brought in person to the Spring Clean-Up Drop-Off on April 26 & May 3, 2025, at the Town of Mohawk Highway Facility.
📦 All items for curbside pickup must be manageable for collection crews. Unsafe, excessively large, or improperly prepared items may not be picked up.
