As we approach one week since initiating our new testing models with our engineers and the NYS Department of Health, we continue to make adjustments to improve the water quality for the long term. Customers of the Village Water System may be contacted to schedule onsite testing at their location.

Boil Water Notice

Out of an abundance of caution, we must continue the Boil Water Order. There are no changes to your everyday water usage within your home or business. Please visit the NYS Department of Health Public Water website for further tips and information.

Reporting Water Quality Issues

We rely on our water customers to notify the Village of any color changes in their water. Your cooperation is crucial. Please provide your observation’s date, time, and service address, along with any additional helpful information. You can email this information to [email protected].

Information Sharing We are posting public notices throughout the village to inform water customers about where they can share and receive information. Obtaining information through official Village communication channels is essential to avoid misinformation.

If you haven’t registered with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department Hyper-Reach program, please do so. This program shares critical information throughout the county and on the Village’s behalf. If you lack internet access or have difficulties registering, please call the sheriff’s office non-emergency line at 518-853-5500.

Water Distribution

As noted in a Public Notice, we will continue distributing bottled water at the Municipal Building on weekdays. For more details, please visit Bottled Water Distribution Update.
