NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Fonda-Fultonville Joint Wastewater Treatment Plant (FFJWTP) is soliciting sealed bids for sludge hauling and disposal Services. Bid Issue Date: February 17, 2025
Bid Submission Deadline: April 4, 2025, by 3:00 PM
Bid Opening Date & Time: April 7, 2025, at 6:30 PM
Bid Opening Location: FFJWTP Board Meeting – Village of Fonda Municipal Office, 8 E. Main Street, Fonda, NY 12068
Bids must be sealed in an opaque envelope and clearly labeled “Bid for Sludge Hauling and Disposal Services – Bid #01-2025″ FFJWTP.” Bids may be submitted by mail to:

The scope of work includes the hauling and disposal of approximately 600,000 gallons of liquid sludge annually from the FFJWTP facility located at 29 S. Bridge St., Fonda, NY 12068, to an approved disposal site. The current disposal site is the Gloversville-Johnstown Wastewater Treatment Facility, 191 Union Ave, Johnstown, NY 12095.
Bidders must comply with all federal, state, and local environmental regulations regarding sludge transport and disposal. A properly executed Non-Collusive Bidding Certification must be included with the bid submission.
The FFJWTP Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities, and award the contract in the best interest of the FFJWTP.
