New York State Announces New Law to Clarify Disclosure of Credit Card Surcharges Went in Effect February 11, 2024

The Governor Signed into Law in December 2023 for Business Transactions Imposing a Credit Card Surcharge Must Post the Total Price of Transactions, Including the Surcharge, Before the Sale.

To Assist Businesses, the Department of State has Created a Credit Card Surcharge Video to Help Businesses Comply with the Law.
